Feeling kinda shitty.
Well a lot shitty.
But I'm tired more than anything.

My head's kinda spinning..lotsa stuff in it I don't want to be there. But I'm so tired I like can't stop it or anything.

I wanna be in bed before midnight..mm.

Dentist in the morning, ew.
My antihistimine is wearing off, depressinggggggg

We watching A nice day for a Greek wedding, I say we, I mean I'm in the living room and it happens to be on.

This song adds to my sleepy.

Bon Anniversere.

Happy Birthday Petit Poisson. I love you so much. I hope your day is a-okay. Je t'aime <3 xxx

Sleep yo

I so need some. I'm freakin' pooped! I actually fell asleep on the sofa earlier, partly due to a migraine but mostly due to feeling a weight lifted. Mm, I need to eat soon cause my stomach has the empty belly pain. Not that I'm complaining. But Ali is. Kat Kat has fully integrated, she went the other night. Some of the others are beginning to fade too.

Clocks

Clocks jumping fuddled everything ¬.¬ However. My ride was largely uneventful unlike last time lol. We took Zoh out for his walk, he did really well, ended up lead file, didn't really give a shit which was aweeeesomeeeee. I spoke to Little Fish today (je t'aime petit poisson), made me realise just how much I missed her...talking again felt like home. Like half of me had been missing. It feels nice to be back in one piece. What have I done? I wish I could run, away from this ship going under. So I'm in love with this song. It's official. "Get it right" it's by Glee. It makes me happy/sad. Okay, I'm going to bed, I'm poopeded.

Slow post.

This post is slow because I was doing my first TC and it took some prep!

It went really well actually!

I get to mess with trans tomorrow and do a recap of it lol

Time to think up a TC for late April/May.

Sleepy time for me now I'm wiped lol

Chicken

So we had a clicker session with Helen today and Zoh did really well, he caught on ninja fast!
Then tonight he got choke again. Scared me shitless, made me feel pathetic and helpless.

Rode May today, all went well, probably the calmest ride we've had.

I jumped Lofty the other day, it was totally awesome. I felt very unsafe like 2 strides away from the jump and had a mild panic but he was brilliant and just went straight over, it was brilliant fun heh.

I was actually in bed before midnight last night! A freakin' miracle.

So tired.

Tomorrow I'm riding May at ten.
Helen is coming at 11.30.
Work at 3.30.

Need to text Di to see how Pat is.

Need to wash Zoh's legs at the weekend. He had a fly fringe on today and I'm pretty sure it annoyed him all day.

Sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepy.

I found a frog and I named him Todd. Aw-sum.

He was epic, but I let him go.

On a brighter note. I want to SI.

Indubitubly

I spelt it wrong but I'm too tired to care.

Today was interesting, didn't really do much outta the ordinary..well anything outta the ordinary. Zoh decided today he didn't wanna be in his stable when he knew his haynet was outside so he walked out lol.

Wanna walk him out Sundaaaay.

Vet is coming Tuesday, Dentist Thursday, Helen Friday. Busy busy.

Might not be riding May for much longer cause Fizz wants to ride her again. But Nina said she'd gimme a lesson on Lofty, yay.

My eyes hurt!

My eyeballs actually kill. I'm not even kidding I don't know what I've done but they feel llike they've been hydrated.

Which brings me to my next point. I decided I don't like water, so I want dehydrated water which would be Hydrogen gas. H2.. Does anyone have any lying around?

Jesus, I'm tempted to go to bed now, I'm so wiped.

Oopsy

Day 4:

Place I'd like to visit. Spanish Riding School

Feeling vaguely proud

For those of you that know I've had a blade in the back of my phone for like..god knows how long, I took it out yesterday. I still have it, but it's no longer on my person all of the time. It made me feel pretty nervous actually and probably didn't add to my shittiness of last night, but I'm still kinda proud of myself heh.

I told Rach too and she said she was proud of me, but I need to get rid of it. So instantly I want it back because I'm scared of not having it around. I have plenty..I don't know why it stresses me out so much. I do want to get rid of at least one this month. And I will. Cause I can do this..right?

I wanna walk Zoh out this weekend, hopefully. Or at least take him out the gate to the other gate and see if Mick'll let me turn him out that way insteada through the fields.

I didn't post my Day 3 picture, so like here it is.

Wednesday, 16 March 2011

Wennnnsday.

I didn't ride today, May had light therapy and she's not rideable tomorrow either, butttt I'll be riding on Friday. But I'm riding Moose tomorrow :]

I'm insanely tired, I'm about to fall in the shower after doing FSaF and thennnn I will probably go to bed.

I had to cover a TC today o.o' 3 mods..one had to scoot, one was eaten by the internet and that left me! It wasn't great lol. Prepared I was not.

Mm, time to FSaF.

Bobbity

By Jesus I'm fucked. I'm SO freaking tired. I've worked everyday this week and I'll do the same next week. Tomorrow I'm riding May, then I have physio, then work, then yard. Tues, Weds, Thurs, Fri are the same minus physio. Saturday I have yard, work, then riding May, then work and yard. Sunday is just May unless I get asked to look after Pat.

Mm, I feel like I wanna cry. I'm not feeling all that stable lol
I don't know why I laughed it isn't funny.

I wish life wasn't so..confusing right now.

Saturday, 12 March 2011

Heh

First day of new work today, went well. May was a gay which means I'll have my job for a while :P

I'm still insanely sleepy! I had...oo a good 2 hours sleep last night

Jakey bit my thumb earlier and it bled so now I'm insanely urgy. But I have a bat shaped plaster on it.

I'm pretty sure I'm in trouble for looking at "bad" pictures.

Jake is chewing Ozzie on my lap o.o

Ew, I have work tomorrow. I'll have worked 7 days this week. Fail.

Friday, 11 March 2011

Scooooooore.

I got another job today hahahaha, I'm riding a horse for a friend. It'sa be awesome.

Farrier is here tomorrow because Twig lost a shoe and Zoh needs a trim desperately!

In a couple of weeks I wanna take Zoh down the road, it'll be less than 5 minutes, just because I want him to start getting into the swing of things!

Oo, I'll do a Shadymont after this if I can be bothered.

Well this years Eurovision song sucks arse. Not even kidding. Gawd, I think my ear drums are breaking.

I need to go to the TC in a biiiiit, it's on FB, no not FaceBook. Flashbacks!

Hmm, I've been feeling kinda low this last few days, but I think with this busy weekend itsa help me out a lot :)

x

Somewhere.

Somewhere - Within Temptation. Love.

Lost in the darkness, hoping for a sign
Instead there is only silence can't you hear my screams?
Never stop hoping, need to know where you are
But one thing is for sure you're always in my heart

I'll find you somewhere
I'll keep on trying until my dying day
I just need to know whatever has happened
The truth will free my soul

Lost in the darkness, try to find your way home
I want to embrace you and never let you go
Almost hope you're in heaven so no one can hurt your soul
Living in agony 'cause I just do not know where you are

I'll find you somewhere
I'll keep on trying until my dying day
I just need to know whatever has happened
The truth will free my soul

Wherever you are, I won't stop searching
Whatever it takes, I need to know

I'll find you somewhere
I'll keep on trying until my dying day
I just need to know whatever has happened
The truth will free my soul

Yawn

I can not stop yawning! I was up at 7 this morning -.-' at the yard by 8am :O the horses were most confused lol.

Work was..interesting. Aziz didn't turn up til nearly 5, Jodie smacked her head on a door so did Sam, and I picked up some glass and got acid on my hand -.-'

I won't mention what I wanted to do with the glass in my hand. I also won't mention the fucking awful thought in my head atm.

And with that, I'm wandering to doze lol

Byezebye

Wednesday, 9 March 2011

Okay

As I keep saying, JESUS I'M TIRED! I'm pretty sure the best way to combat that is to actually sleep but y'know, life hates me.

I've been feeling..weird lately. Slightly out of control kinda weird. I'mma be at the stables insanely early tomorrow so I'mma take Moose out for a nice ride and hopefully stay calm and in control..

I have to walk to work tomorrow, it's like..less than 15 minutes walk but I'll still complain lol. I literally have to walk across the dip, up the road and down a short road and I'm there!

Ali keeps playing Jessie J inside and it's like stuck in my head so I keep listening to it outside..it's depressing I like it ¬.¬

Slightly less worried about Zoh than I was.

And see as I'm completely ignoring my current..issue. I'm going to take the time to bitch about it vaguely. I wish it would go away. I'm fed up of it and I don't want it again.

Bai.

Shadymont #8

Shadymont #8:

“I need some supple wood, find some saplings.” Scout and Hollo split away and returned after a short while dragging a sapling under each arm. Tosha split the saplings and attached them together with the vine. “I need more vine” as she spoke Scout took off up a vine and pulled it down in the same way Tosha had before. Hollo and Scout helped to pull the three pigs onto the makeshift sled and lashed them down using the second vine. Using half of the vine, Tosha made a pair of quick harnesses which she looped round herself and Scout before attaching them to the sled.
“I can help,” said Hollo stepping forwards.
“You’ll be more help in the air, we will be moving slow, I need you to make sure there is no one near.” Hollo leapt into the air, switching into the familiar owl shape while Scout and Tosha shifted into wolves. Growling lightly, Scout pulled forwards, digging his claws into the ground needing the sled to make the first move to make the rest of the journey easier. As it slowly slid forwards they morphed into horses making it easier to pull the sled. Speeding up to a slow trot the pair of them easily kept pace with the pale owl floating smoothly ahead.

“Stop.” Said Tosha loudly as she shifted. “Something isn’t right.” She stepped out of the harness and paused, she shifted into her collie form before dropping her nose and trotting forwards. She paused with her front leg lifted her nose raised in the air; morphing she leant down and touched the ground. “There was a struggle.” She stood and turned to Scout. “Someone has our family.” Scout dropped to his knees. Tosha cast her mind as far as it would go searching for the faintest sign of her family. She could hear a faint whisper of Bux’s voice; turning to face it she took off and cawed loudly as she flew. She continued to shout with her mind to Bux. She could hear gently flapping behind her and reached back to sense Scout and Hollo behind her. Scout’s mind was in turmoil, he had never been without his family before and she could feel him falling apart.
“I need you to stay strong, Scout. I need you to help me with this.” He cawed his response and continued to fly.
“Tosha! Scout!” shouted a voice.
“Bux!” they responded in unison.
“Don’t come any closer! Soriters. They have us all, follow us at a distance and we’ll keep you up to date. I don’t think they realise we are teles or there are more of us. Keep out of sight, I mean it.” Tosha dropped down and landed human, Scout and Hollo followed.
“What’s happening?” question Hollo.
“Soriters have our family.” Hollo went pale.
“What are their names, I might know them, I might be able to talk to them.” Tosha questioned Bux and he explained he didn’t know. She relayed the information to Hollo.
“We need to think about this tactically. We need food, we need to go and deal with the pigs. They’re set up for the night; they won’t be leaving until first light that gives us...8 hours at best.” She placed her hand gently on Scout’s shoulder. “We’ll get them back, don’t worry.” He smiled faintly at her before following her to go back and fetch the pigs.

Bux passed the message along to the others; Tosha and Scout were nearby. He saw Finora relax as she knew her boy was safe. Malet had her eyes closed; she was connected to all the members of her family, Hollo included, via the necklaces. She had injected a little of herself into each of them so she could sense if they wearer was who it was supposed to be and deal with them if it was not. She could sense that the hunting party was close; she could also sense that the metal was pulling a little power from them as they rested. She looked at Bux and he opened her mind.
“They are safe.” He smiled gratefully to her before thanking her.

Hokay.

Hokay, soooooo, I needa post this, it's bugging me.

Today, while sorting out haynets I had one of the most intense body memories I've ever had the misfortune to have. It literally knocked me off my feet and I fell backwards into the second haylage bale and slid to the floor. I don't remember much but I know my eyes glazed over and I could only feel the memory. I could feel his hands on my wrists and his weight across my chest. Rach finally got me to look at her and even though I could see she had my hand I couldn't feel it. When I eventually got up she asked me if I was okay (which was clearly a no) and I responded I felt slightly light headed because I hadn't drunk enough lately. She looked at me like I'd just told her I was part platypus or something so clearly she didn't believe me! I wonder why >.>

Anywho that's all, laters

Lurve.

In the TC last night we got a challenge. This is me fulfilling it!

Batman: I know things have been beyond awkward with us lately and we're both struggling with things but I will always love you and you're always gunna be my Batman even when I'm being an antisocial whosit! <3

Laney: I'm sorry that your life has kinda done a backflip and that you're struggling but I'm always more than willing to listen even though what I say in response is often a sleep addled one! You're an insanely awesome friend (and now I didn't call you insane!) and I'm so luck to have met you. Love you Laney ^.^ <3

Little Fish: Lit'lun, I love you more than you know and I'm 100% always here for you. I wish that we lived much much closer..like y'know same house! Cause I so want to snuggle you to death! Oh yes, I will smother you with snuggles, bet you're excited now!! I super mega love you Little Fish, for always little sis <3

I love y'all. (I'm American!! :D :D) x

Shadymont #7

Shadymont #7:

“I know he is here somewhere” his voice rattled louder with anger. “I want to know where he is. Who he is hiding with. And I want to know what he knows.” His horse tossed its head nervously as it sensed his anger. “Chalent, Molov go out to the East see what you can find. Solen go west. Halen you will stay with me. Go.” He dismissed them curtly, turned his horse and set off at a brisk trot with Halen behind him. In their wake they left the dead body of Durko leaning against the tree with the arrow shaft still poking out from his bloodstained white shirt.
“Find him.” Vixor cast the message loudly to his followers via his mind.

Bux woke the group and called Tosha down from her watch post. She cast her mind out one final time to ensure they were safe before gliding down and landing as herself.
“We need to go hunting again. Tosha and Scout can you two find us something other than deer?” Tosha grinned.
“There are a herd of escaped cattle to the North and a few wild pigs to the East. Which do you want?”
“Can I come?” asked Hollo. “I can shift and I won’t be lame on my arm.” Tosha looked to Finora for guidance. She nodded her agreement. Hollo grinned and stood up beside Tosha and Scout.
“So, beef or pork?”
“Pork.” Nodding, the three of them shifted into birds; a magpie, a crow and a snow white owl. Following Tosha’s lead the three of them took off in hunt of food.
In their absence Bux and everyone else begun to pack up in preparation to move slowly onwards. Suddenly Bux and Heno stopped and looked directly up. Above them were five white owls staring down.
“Soriter!” Shouted Bux and Heno in unison, “Finora, Malet, get out of here NOW!” Bux shifted into a large eagle and flew directly at the owls. Two dropped straight down to meet him halfway and they begun to fight in the sky. Two other owls dropped past the fight and intercepted Malet, Heno and Finora. The final owl circled slowly down to the ground as Bux was finally knocked down and pinned to the ground. All five owls shifted into their human forms and the four rebels had metal collars placed around their necks. Bux attempted to shift and as his formed blurred before he changed he received a sharp shock from the collar causing him to yell and drop to the floor.
“Shifter collars.” Said one of the Soriters. “They work well don’t you think?” Bux growled at him loudly. He shouted to Heno with his mind, who physically winced.
“Good, you can still hear me. Keep shouting to Scout and Tosha, we don’t need them caught as well. I thought we had moved out of their travel path.”
“They might have heard us packing to leave.” The two of them sent messages to Malet and Finora, breaking through their mental walls, letting them know they were going to keep calling out for Tosha and Scout.

Meanwhile, the hunting party had located the pigs and were flying low in order to switch when they needed to.
“Switch when I do. Scout go left, Hollo go right.” She broke through Hollo’s walls distracting him so he almost collided with a tree. He hooted softly at her and swung right. Tosha switched in midair and landed expertly as a wolf, she snarled as she lunged after the fleeing pigs. Scout and Hollo touched down either side of her and locked onto one of the pigs and giving chase. The pigs squealed loudly as they ran, pushing through ferns and branches. With a leap Scout and Tosha took down their prey, seconds later they heard Hollo doing the same. Hollo appeared, pushing through a large fern, dragging his kill behind him. Tosha pulled on a large vine that was hanging near her, shimmying up it she pulled a flint from her pocket and cut it down, as she begun to fall she switched landing as a magpie before turning back.

Yup.

I'm running out of ingenious blog titles ¬.¬

Just doing a quick post before Physio cause afterwards I'm bailing to work to help out whoever is doing my section then scooting to the yard! Tomorrow I need to remember to muck out in the morning cause Mum's got pole and I have work so we won't have time.

Jeeeeesus, I'm tired. While my computer was scanning cause of the virus it found I dozed lol

I had a moment I was proud of today, which I probably shouldn't be. But yes.

I need to prepare myself for Physio..aka take some painkillers lol

Shadymont #6

Shadymont #6:

“I’ve been working on a way to keep your defensive shield up even if I’m away from you. It will help you to guard your mind from Valien.” she begun. She pulled 7 small necklaces from her pockets, each with a pendant of twisted metal. She passed one to everyone in the group including Hollo before slipping her own around her neck. “They have my mark on them as well as our mark, the Turkens.”
“How do they work?” asked Bux.
“It’s complicated. The best way to describe it is that it will draw a small amount of magic from you and store it until it needs to use it to defend you.”
“How does it know when you need defending?” questioned Scout as he fingered the twisted pendant.
“Through you powers. It senses it and shields you.” Gently turned it over in her hands Tosha examined the metal and found it warm to the touch.
“Hey, it warm!”
“It’s drawing power” explained Malet.
“So cool!” Tosha continued to stare at the pendant before tugging it on and tucking it beneath her shirt. “Thanks Malet.” Malet smiled and turned away.
Hollo twisted the metal in one hand and saw the crest of the Soriter as well as that of the rebel Turkens on his. Running his thumb over the crest he smiled faintly before gently pulling his necklace on and feeling the already familiar warmth of it against his neck.

His long pale hair whipped out behind him before changing into the long white fur of a white husky. His smoky grey eyes elongated and became pale blue; his tongue lolled from his mouth as he ran. His speed was fast, but not fast enough. The thunder of hooves behind him got louder; he could hear the voices now. Zerin and Durko ran hard beside him both in similar forms to his. Zerin’s white form was a wolf and Durko was an albino wolf; both were at the limit of their speed. As Hollo switched to a tall white stag and he increased his speed; as Zerin changed he was hit by a power arrow of the pursuing Valien. Screaming in pain he changed as he fell; he clutched at the shaft of the arrow as he pulled it out.
“Zerin!” Shouted Durko.
“GO!” He screamed at them both as they stumbled away from him switching and sprinting into the darkness leaving him to certain death as the arrow stripped his powers and he was left to the mercy of the Valien. As the Valien approached they pulled up their horses, their hooded capes covering their faces in shadow.
“What have we here?” rattled the voice of one of the riders. “Solen, deal with him.” One of the riders dismounted. “There were no survivors,” finished the rider before he spurred his horse on in pursuit of Hollo and Durko. The remaining four riders used their minds to track their quarry as they hurtled through the trees. Sensing them ahead they pushed their horses faster until the white stags could be seen flickering through the darkness. Halen, the archer sent a flurry of arrows flying towards Hollo and Durko. Durko was hit in the shoulder and he tumbled forwards morphing as he fell. He threw something in the air as he changed which Hollo caught as he switched into a pure white barn owl. Halen released another arrow which glanced off passed the owl causing it to shriek in pain but stay in the air.
“Blessed be” gasped Durko as he watched Hollo fly high above the trees. The Valien halted beside Durko.
“Where is he going?” The voice rattled again. Durko did not respond. Suddenly he lurched forwards clutching his head and writhing on the floor but the mental attack did not subside. The rider stood up straight as he spoke.
“He knows not where the Prince is headed. Spread out, track him.” The three riders spread out as Solen came cantering into view. He bowed his head as he approached his master.
“He is dealt with,” he spoke both with his mind and his voice. “I could not glean any useful information from him, except his name and those of his companions.” Hissing, his master moved his attention back to Durko. Solen mounted his horse and begun to track the escaped owl. Durko was pale, sweating and struggling to breathe.
“The end is near, Durko.” Looking up Durko mouthed something before taking a final shuddering breath.
Hollo was already miles away, his breathing was laboured and his side was coated in blood; he struggled to keep his eyes open. Losing consciousness he plummeted towards the ground, his wings folded in and he changed, landing heavily on his left wrist before coming to a stop.

Jerking awake Hollo yelped in pain as his wrist knocked the tree he was leaning against. Tosha was instantly on her feet growling deeply looking around. Switching she looked questioningly at Hollo.
“Bad dream” he muttered before carefully repositioning himself and faking sleep. He heard Tosha stretching in the leaves before hearing the gentle flap of wings; a brief moments silence before a similar flapping. Then he felt Scout the monkey curl up beside his head, his tail tickled his cheek before Scout’s small hand fastened gently on the edge of his t-shirt collar. Hollo was borrowing a shirt from Bux it was a faded black making it appear grey; it was the darkest item of clothing he had ever worn and it made him look even paler than he already was. Taking comfort in Scout’s warm body and reassuring touch, Hollo drifted back to a dreamless sleep.

Mmhmm

Erm I'm actually SO tired it's unbelievable.

I'm NOT doing my tuesday night shift, I'm just doing 7-9.30 instead, w00t.

Shadymont #5

Shadymont #5:

Heno tapped Tosha gently on the shoulder to wake her for sentry duty, slipping away from Scout she trotted to the front door and sniffed around following the track that Heno had walked whilst on duty. She turned to face the wind and lifted her muzzle into the air; she could smell the ferns and trees from the forest and a herd of deer on the outskirts of the woods but nothing out of the ordinary. Casting her mind out to the deer she sensed something different about them, they didn’t have ordinary prey thoughts they thought like humans. Sprinting back into the house she awake all teles with a single shout and the others awoke from the noise of them waking.
“Soriter. We’ve got to move now. ETA 5 minutes.” Bux leapt up.
“Finora, Malet, Heno pack up upstairs. Scout, go and keep an eye out, sparrow. Tosha, I need you big to carry Hollo.” Scout flitted silent out the window casting his mind out to the deer keeping everyone up to date with their progress. Hollo helped to roll up the bed rolls and slid them into the rucksack which Tosha attached to his back. Tosha helped him into the back garden before morphing into a tall black horse; she lay down so Hollo could step over her before she stood up.
“They’re coming!” shouted Scout. Malet and Bux burst from the house morphing into tall horses so that Heno and Finora could escape. Scout dropped down and morphed into his monkey and landed on Tosha’s neck.
“Let’s go. Now. Before it’s too late” she said. Bux nodded his head and all three horses took off at a fast canter straight into the woods where the darkness soon enveloped them.

They kept pace until the sun begun to rise before they stopped by a small creek on the edge of the forest. Malet, Bux and Tosha all dropped their noses into the water and gulped the cool fresh water down. Hollo, Heno, Scout and Finora all climbed down and the others morphed back.
“Jesus” panted Tosha. “How far did we run?” Bux grunted in way of a response. Heno and Malet went to collect some firewood so they could cook some breakfast of deer. “I’m going to see if I can see anyone in the area.” Tosha switched into her magpie and Scout became his crow and the two of them flew up above the trees and scanned the area, casting out their minds to the limit of their ability to ensure they would be safe for a long time. Although their minds crossed those of many animals they were simply animals and not shifters. When the two of them dropped back into the makeshift camp they found breakfast to be almost ready and Finora was changing Hollo’s bandages. She had heated some water and she cleaned the open wound out carefully before applying some more painkilling herb to the wound and wrapping a fresh bandage around it. Tosha looked up at Hollo’s face; he was pale and sweating clearly in pain. Finora handed him a cup and told him to drink.

After everybody had eaten, Malet and Bux flew up to check for any others in the area; they happened across another small band of rebels moving in the opposite direction to them and flew to warn them of the approaching Soriters. The rebels warned that up ahead of where Bux’s group was were also Soriters. The two rebel groups chose to move horizontally away from both groups keeping a keen distance between them hoping that the two Soriter groups meet and travel in the same direction and allow the rebel groups to pass safely in peace.

The group stopped to make camp in the early afternoon to give Hollo a chance to rest and the others a chance to spar. Malet cast protective spells over them before they begun to spar to ensure no one was injured badly, attacks would leave a small wound that would not hold them back should they need to fight for real. Tosha pulled her sharpened antlers from the pack and split it apart revealing two separate equally deadly weapons. She squared off to Scout, both of them dropping into a defensive pose and waiting for the other to move. Tosha lunged forwards suddenly feinting to the left before spinning right slicing one antler after another across Scout’s defence. Scout was no easy fight, as Tosha was spinning past him; he slid his arm around her and pulled her close holding a small knife to her throat. Smiling he begun to say the familiar word:
“Cau-” he was cut off mid word as Tosha switched into her magpie and flitted away before changing back into herself. Tilted her head to the side she grinned and waited for Scout’s attack.
They continued to spar until dinner was served; Malet removed their wards before passing them their food.

Shadymont #4:

With a low moan the man twitched slightly and opened his eyes and tried to pull himself into a sitting position.
“I would suggest you stay flat.” Finora warned as she approached him. “Drink” she commanded as she handed him a small cup of water. He accepted the water and drank it slowly watching the two women in front of him. “I wouldn’t do it if I were you. It will hurt” said Finora said turning away. He jerked back, trying to hide his surprise.
“How? Wha-” he stuttered. Finora simply smiled and asked his name. “Hollo.”
“Finora. And this,” she said pointing to Tosha, “is your saviour. She found you in the woods. You can both swap stories because I’m going downstairs. Scout will tell you when the deer is done.” And with that she left leaving Tosha and Hollo alone.

“Hi, Tasha”
“Tosha.” She corrected as she walked into the room properly. “So what are you?”
“I-I don’t think I follow.”
“What. Are. You?” She repeated. “You’re clearly from a clan, so which is it?”
“Soriter.” Hollo was inspecting the willow splint on his wrist. “You?”
“Turken.” He looked taken aback. “Did you really need to ask?”
“I didn’t think.”
“Clearly.” She retorted. She moved across the room touching various herbs repeating their names. “So you’re a shifter?”
“Yes. What is your ability?”
“Try abilities. We’re power thieves remember. I can shift and I’m a tele.”
“Sorry, a what?”
“A tele...telepath.” Rolling her eyes she called to Scout to come up. He appeared in his wolf form and stood on the threshold of the room looking questioningly at Tosha. “We found you in the woods. What were you doing in Shadymont?”
“I was hunting.” He held Scout’s gaze. Switching Scout leant against the doorframe.
“Can’t you hunt in Layalan?” He asked.
“We can, but sometimes it’s nice to get away from the city.”
“Lucky for some.” He murmured. Tilting his head slightly he looked at Tosha. “Deer’s up.” He turned to leave. “Oh, wait. Do you need help?” He looked at Hollo.
“Oh, yes please. That is terribly kind of you.”
“Er...you’re welcome.” Scout bent down and picked Hollo up, cradled in his arms. Tosha called to Bux before switching to a Magpie and soaring down the stairs. As she landed in the lower hallway, Bux burst through the window and headed straight for her. Tucking in her wings she rolled out of his range and tugged on his tail feathers as she passed throwing him off balance. He morphed in mid-air and landed on his side on the floor; Tosha switched at the same time and landed firmly on two feet.
“Still need some practice, I see” said Heno jokingly. Bux shot Heno a dirty look, picked up a piece of meat and dropped down beside Malet to eat. The others all took some meat as well and sat in a close circle. Scout passed Hollo some meat before tucking into his own piece.
For fifteen minutes there was no speaking, through mouth or via mind, all that could be heard was the gentle crackle of the fire in what was left of the fireplace and the contented chewing of hungry rebels.

“So,” said Hollo breaking the silence. “What is your ability...uh...abilities?”
Malet responded first; “Shifter and a witch”
“Mage” replied Finora.
“Shifter and tele” said Scout.
“Ditto!” shouted Bux and Tosha.
“Tele and witch” finished Heno.
“Wow, what are your home-forms?” Hollo asked.
They replied in the same order.
“Song bird or a boxer”
“Wolf or monkey”
“Eagle or wolf”
“Collie or magpie. What about you?”
“A white stag or a white husky.”

“Right,” begun Bux. “We’ve got an early start tomorrow, we need some basic materials. And Hollo is going to need a new set of clothes. Heno you take first watch.” Bux reached into the rucksack and pulled out 3 bed rolls. One for Finora, Heno and Hollo. “Those that can shift do so; those that cannot here are your rolls.” Tosha giggled;
“We know Bux. We’ve done this for how long? Am I second watching tonight?” Bux nodded. “Don’t pounce on me to wake me up again, Heno. I won’t be responsible for my actions.” Switching as she sat Tosha stretched out her legs and walked over near Hollo before curling up tucking her tail round under her nose. Malet was settled near the fire and Bux settled behind her as a wolf. Scout the monkey climbed across Tosha’s back and settled between her front paws; Tosha licked the top of Scout’s head and he chattered back to her before sticking out his tongue.

Heno and Scout had made short work of the two deer which were now both skinned, gutted and the stag had been decapitated. Tosha walked back into the room, nodding to the two of them and she collected the head of the stag and set to work removing the antlers which could be made into a weapon. Sitting with the head between her feet she used two flints to remove the horns from the base of the skull. She threw one of the antlers to Bux who was stood in the doorway.
“Still numbed up?” He asked her. She responded with a rude gesture which he laughed off. Grasping the antler firmly Tosha set to work sharpening the many points; Bux sat opposite her to watch his prodigy at work. He noted the familiar way she held the flint and how she thumbed the edges of the points to make sure they were smooth and sharp. When she was finished she stood, slid into a defensive position and swirled and thrust the weapon forwards before a jab sharply back.
“Are you game?” she asked Bux, stepping back into a defensive pose again. He rose holding his antler loosely by his side, with a sudden twist he jabbed forwards aiming for Tosha’s chest, only to find she had danced away and was to his right. With a thrust to his right he followed through to where Tosha had been moments before, to find himself face to face with the wall as Tosha caught his arm, disarming him and using his forward propulsion to pin him to the wall.
“Caught.” She smiled at him before stepping away.

“When you two have finished...” Malet’s voice sounded from the doorway. “Finora’s says you can see the boy.” With a short jump, Tosha switched in mid air emitting a loud caw, the magpie torpedoed out the door narrowly missing Malet before flying up the stairs. Landing as a human, Tosha entered the upper room slowly. Finora didn’t look up instead continuing to mutter the ancient healing words under her breath as she her hands pressed gently on his chest and upper leg. The young man had a bare chest with a bandage wrapped firmly around his lower abdomen to hold the pain killing herbs in place. Tosha’s gaze slid to his left wrist which was splinted with the supple willow splint restricting his movement. Malet slid into the room behind Tosha and knelt beside the man; she gently picked up the small bowl and used the rag to dab his forehead.
Shooting a glance outside Tosha noted the large bald eagle perched on the same branch she had sat on earlier.
“All clear?” she asked the eagle with her mind.
“For now,” responded Bux. Turning back to Malet she asked if the man had woken yet.
“Not yet,” replied Finora. “But soon.” She stood, moving away from him and facing the window. “How goes the deer?”
“Heno and Scout are cutting it. I don’t think they’ve started cooking.” Tosha paused as she sent a tendril of her mind down to Scout. “No, I was right they haven’t. But they will soon, they’re hungry.”
“Malet, go and help them with the deer and take the spices with you please.” Malet morphed into a beautiful song bird and flitted down the stairs to assist.

Thinkering

I was thinkering after conversing with Laaaney (hai Laney) and it made me think of some stuff.

When people get confrontational or threatening, I automatically backaway and do the hands raised thing. And if there are any sudden movements I lift my arm to protect myself..this normally defuses the situation instantly cause people question why I did it.

Made me think of when T and I first got together and I was looking out the window, leaning on the frame and he was on the phone to CJ, they were yelling at each other and although I was aware he was angry and behind me I didn't feel threatened but I was listening incase he came closer. When he put the phone down he turned me around to face him because he said I wasn't listening and he was getting more and more angry over what CJ'd said and he took a step towards me and I stepped backwards and found I was in the corner. I automatically dropped down so I was crouched and lifted both my arms. The next thing I remember him doing was taking hold of my wrists gently and lowered my arms, he was crouched in front of me. He asked me why I thought he was gunna hurt me and I explained a little about my dad but only the violence and he pulled me out the corner slowly and we curled up on the bed and he just held me while I stuttered my way through telling him about Dad.
He promised he'd never hurt me...well we all know how well he stuck to that.

Just figured I'd share..I guess to try and get people to understand WHY I stayed with him even when he was a knob.

Shadymont #2

Part 2:

From her vantage point, Tosha’s magpie eyes honed in on a small group of deer bounding down the road towards the woods that lay below, with her mind she sensed they were as they seemed and not shifters. Searching for Scout’s mind she summoned him to her, moments later he catapulted out of an upper window as a capuchin monkey.
“Subtle” she muttered. She pointed out the fast disappearing deer and they both dropped to the ground and changed into their hunter forms. The two grey wolves bounded after the deer following their noses until they were insight. A sharp gust of wind blew from behind the pair of them alerting the deer to their presence; splitting up the deer careered in different directions.
“The stag!” Scout’s voice echoed loudly through her head. She followed his gaze and saw the stag clearing a 4ft fallen oak tree and adjusted her position in order to see him properly. Pushing off with her hind legs, she felt her claws dig into the loose top soil as she was propelled forwards, her tongue lolled sideways out of her mouth as she gathered speed closing the distance on the magnificent stag in front of her. Pushing herself harder, with a final burst of speed she lept up onto a fallen tree trunk and launched herself up and onto the stag’s broad back. Her rough landing knocked the stag off balance and he tumbled to the ground throwing her as well, quickly pulling herself to her feet she pounced on her prey biting his neck and shaking violently; when she felt the vertebrae in his neck snap she released her pressure and dropped to the floor before switching.
A minute later, Scout jogged into view with a doe slung over his shoulder, he dropped the doe on the ground beside the stag and sat beside Tosha.
“I didn’t think you were going to get him. He was crazy fast!”
“Ye of little faith” she panted. “Wanna carry the stag back? He’s gunna last us a good week.”
“Sure” Scout laughed. “I know you’re little arms can’t carry him, you lit-“he was cut off midsentence by a flying cannonball that was Tosha, she switched into midair into her collie and planted both front feet on his chest.
“What was that?” she asked with her mind as she snarled inches from his face. In a sudden flurry of motion, Scout morphed into a brown bear and batted at Tosha sending her flying across the leafy strewn floor. Snarling she pulled herself to her feet and leapt at him switching to a cougar in mid air and landing on his back. “Stop.” She returned to her collie form and dropped her nose to the floor. “Human blood, stay here with the meat.” She kept her nose to the ground and followed the trail of blood for a half mile before she came to a clearing. She hesitated at the edge of the clearing before stepping into it and switching forms. She approached the figure lying prone in the leaves; gently she poked his foot and got no response. Tosha flipped him over and checked his pulse and breathing. He was alive. Scooping him into her arms, she lifted him into a fireman’s carry she turned and begun making her way back to Scout. She called ahead with her mind to make sure Scout knew she was coming and knew not to attack.

“Finora!” She shouted, as she carried the man in her arms up the stairs. Bux met her half way and swung the body across into his arms carrying him the rest of the way. He laid him on the floor beside Finora.
“Where’s Scout?”
“Outside. Buck and a doe.”
“Heno, go and help him. Keep your eyes open.” Heno swung over the banister and landed heavily in the hallway below him. Finora was leant over the man listening to his breathing; her hands skated across his limbs checking for broken bones. She paused over his left wrist. “Broken,” she murmured. Malet collected some vine and a pre-made splint which she set to fixing to his wrist. Finora found a deep wound on his stomach which had come from a grazing arrow which meant Valien where in the area. Reaching behind her, Finora picked up a handful of leaves which she handed to Tosha. Stuffing them in her mouth Tosha chewed until she had a mouthful of mush. Spitting it back into her hand she passed it back to Finora who pressed in into the open wound. Tosha scowled, the leaves made her mouth and tongue numb, making it hard to talk. Finora shooed Bux and Tosha from the room while she dealt with the man.

Bibbity

I had dentist today, thought it was just a check up..yeaaaaaah. I'm now in a fair amount of pain with two metal healing prongs hanging out of my gum, can we say OW?!

I had the beginning of a miiiiiiiiiigraine, fail.

Work was okay today, I don't remember a lot because of the dentist drama less than a half hour beforehand!

I didn't get to go to the yard this evening cause Mum was late home and I was at Pat's at 7 -9.30. I *hate* missing the yard, regardless what for. Even when I was on crutches I still went! It makes me all twitchy and worried about whether they're okay but I know mum's more than capable of looking after them. I can't help it, I'm a worrier!

Erm, I'll post some more of my story in my next post :-)

Shadymont
“When we were born as Soriters, we were born the most powerful of the races. Others bow to us and accept us as their leaders because of our superior magic.”

“When we were born as Valien, we were born the most powerful. We can trick our enemies until they fall from grace and grovelled at our feet.”

“When we were cast from Soriter and Valien we, Turken, became the most powerful of all. Not through lies, corruption and greed. But by our family dedication and our mastery of all of our powers.”

The wind pulled the newspaper sheets up into air, twisting and turning it tumbled down the street. The old sycamore’s branches reached out and plucked the wind propelled newspaper from the air, tangling it in its fingers and pulling it closer. Ragged and torn, the paper strains against the gnarled branches holding it back; with the help of the strong wind it pulls free and returns to dancing in the wake of the wind. Flittering here and there, following the path of its friend, the wind.

Beneath the sycamore sat a blue and white collie, the wind ruffling its fur and whipping leaves in a vortex around it. Standing the dog trotted down the road following the path of the newspaper, before ducking through a hedgerow and entering a cul-de-sac. Pausing, it looked from left to right before continuing to trot down the pavement. With a sharp bark the dog stopped and slid down an alleyway.
A teenager appeared at the end of the alleyway, she glanced around before sprinting across the road and through the open doorway of a house. Once she had entered the house she stepped away from the door, closed her eyes and pushed the boundaries of her mind out to explore the house. Sensing no other beings in the house she crept up the stairs, continually aware of her surroundings.
“Tosha.” She closed her eyes briefly before responding with her mind.
“Scout, will you give me some warning next time. Jesus, you could’ve been Valien for all I knew.” She continued climbing the stairs, “where are you?”
“Outside.” She reached the top of the stairs and moved to a window, she scanned the surrounding area for Scout’s form.
“What are you?” A loud caw from behind her made her spin and drop into a defensive pose before shifting into a large snow leopard and hissing loudly. The crow in front of her hopped back flapping its glossy wings cawing loudly before morphing into the body of an eighteen year old boy. Flipping his blonde hair out of his honey coloured eyes, a smile plastered across his face he took a step towards her and patted the leopard on the nose.
“Nice kitty.” Tosha hissed loudly at him before shifting back into her human form. “Did I scare you?”
“Next time I might not just hiss.” She stalked past him, “you’re lucky I’d already cleared the house. Call the others in will you?” Scout closed his eyes and seconds later the house was a hive of activity. Finora had settled herself in one of the upper rooms with Malet and Heno leant against the door frame watching them set up. Bux, however, slouched in the corner with his knife in his hands and begun to whittle away at a piece of wood he found. Scout bounded over to watch the wood transform. Tosha eyed the tree that stood just beyond the garden, switching to the body of a magpie she flew gracefully from the window and landed firmly on one of the uppermost branches of a tall silver birch. From here she could see the entire neighbourhood including the small gap in the hedge where she had entered.

As the moon slid slowly across the sky, Tosha watched the surrounding area making sure that her family wasn’t going to be attacked by Valien or Soriter. Tosha had been cast from the Soriter clan when she was six; she was not of pure blood and had more than one ability which was a blemish to the race. Her mother, Veritain, had a relationship with a Valien, Yexen, and when Tosha was born her mother returned to Layalan. The Soriter people were pure shape shifters; they altered forms with ease and from memory though they always have a “home form” they non-human form they prefer to be. For Tosha, it was the blue and white collie dog. The Valien, however, were telepaths; you can hold no secret from a Valien. At six years of age, Tosha found her way to Shadymont it was directly between Soriter and Valien land and they were under attack from both clans trying to clear Shadymont and invade for themselves. But because the rebels, as they were called, were multi-armed the clan attacks came in groups of 3 or 4 men often led by a royal because they daren’t send too many or risk rebel families bonding together to rid themselves of their attackers.
Whenever Tosha’s family moved, which was every 2 weeks maximum, she went ahead with Scout to find a new place to live, they were both shifter-tele’s so they always approached in animal form before casting tendrils of their mind out into awaiting houses until they found one that was safe with a good vantage point of the area in order to spot oncoming attackers.

I have another new job, I'm working as a school cleaner at JFK. It's a catholic school so I need to mind my tongue, no swearing and DEF no "Jesus Christ on a bike!"'s because that won't go down well!

It's Monday to Friiiiday, 3.30 til 5.30. I'll have enough time to walk home..it'll only take 15 minutes give or take and thennnn I'll be off to the stables. But it's £7.50 ph before tax/NI etc cause it's going into my bank account. Which is the first time everrrr I'll have a proper legal job lol.

I worked it out w/ Batman earlier and I'll be earning (before tax) £75 a week from JFK, £20 from Barb, £20 from Neil and £10ph whenever I work at Pat's. So I'll easily be able to pay Mick, yay.

ALSO! I get to wear a totally awesome CleanForce LTD blue poloshirt, oh yeah, I'm THAT cool!

Oh, I'm too lazy to make this access only atm :P
